This was what I learned today from my Intercessory training program in Victory Church Alabang. I must share God’s message today, his grace is overflowing!

“My sheep listen to my voice: I know them and they follow me.” - John 10:27

Hearing God is not as easy as people think. Yes, you might have heard a sound deep down in your soul but not all voices come from God, our creator. There are three sources of voices in prophecy : Holy Spirit (God), Flesh (human), and Evil Spirit. Which one do you hear often?

In order to be SURE of that you are hearing God’s voice, you must have first accept Jesus as your savior, repent and have faith. Secondly, maintain an INTIMATE GROWING relationship with Him. Yes, it should be growing, neither stagant nor cold. We gotta keep closer in Him always. Draw closer to God, and He will draw close to you(James 4:8).

God longs for more pure hearts. Blessed are the pure in the heart, for they will see God (Mat 5:7). Turn to God to wipe out your sins, this doesn’t make His grace a license for sinning, but you gotta keep your heart pure. Sinning all over again is like putting Jesus into shame and showing his death is useless. Hear God through reading bible and give emphasis in His message. Desire to hear God’s voice everyday. Not just everyday but every second of your life. Be prayerful and listen carefully to His words. Maintaning a good relationship with Him requires a great calling of OBEDIENCE. An obedience in all of the aspect of your life is what God wants from you.

Lastly, test every spirit! 1John 4:1 Every voice that comes from a Holy Spirit is always good, gentle, directive, and pleasing before God.
